Addtl Info Hickory Grove United Methodist Church in Charlotte has a position open for an Organist.� The time requirements are every Sunday from 8:30am to 10:30am, for a brief adult choir rehearsal and the traditional service, and every Thursday adult choir rehearsal from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.� Additional services include Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Christmas Eve, and funerals. Approaching Easter and Christmas, there will be a couple of additional rehearsals.� Qualifications are the ability to accompany the congregation on standard hymns with some improvisation and appropriate registration, and to accompany a choir under the direction of a conductor, which includes playing by sight and occasionally from open score.� The person hired must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The pay range is $14-16k per year.� While this position is responsible for traditional worship, HGUMC also enjoys contemporary, African, and Latino services as an integral part of its multi-ethnic mission. Addtl Info FBC Huntersville is seeking a Accompanist for the our Choir (piano) and to provide Organ accompaniment in worship. Beginning the first Sunday of January we will have one Intergenerational worship service at 11 am. This service utilizes a variety of worship elements including worship music led by band, choir, and piano/organ. The organist is the principal accompanist of the chancel choir and leader of traditional congregational singing.
