Selwyn Avenue Presbyterian Church is celebrating our 75th anniversary this October. Music has become a strong component of our worship and life together. The Organist needs to bring a high level of skill, energy, versatility, and faith, and must be a team player. The congregation has become accustomed to excellence from the keyboard. While our music is mostly classical and traditional, occasionally we incorporate spirituals, jazz (i.e. Ellington, Brubeck, Cyrus Chestnut, Robert Ray), and some folk hymns and anthems. We ordinarily do not use "contemporary Christian" or "praise music." Sample worship bulletins may be found on the website www.selwynpres.org on the Publications and Communications link, and the full description/history of the organ is also on the home page of the website. Please submit resume's as soon as possible to firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you!
