The Taylor Organ Competition (Atlanta)
The Atlanta Chapter of the American Guild of Organists is pleased to announce the establishment of The Taylor Organ Competition, the first competition to take place on Saturday, April 21, 2012, and every three years thereafter.
FIRST PRIZE: $10,000 and a solo recital in Atlanta
SECOND PRIZE: $5,000
The 2012 competition is open to individuals born on or after June 1, 1989. A competitor must be enrolled in a school in the United States or must be a legal resident of the United States. See the official competition rules here: http://taylororgancompetition.com/home.html
